I like to keep my work slightly vague, this may be inspired by a specific location but I paint in a way that leaves it open for interpretation. When the viewer sees it I want them to connect with it on an emotional level based on a memory of theirs. Maybe somewhere they went as a kid, favorite vacation spot, etc.
