Ann has been interested in art for as long as she can remember. She moved from coast to coast several times as a child, and found comfort in art, which allowed her to form friendships with other creative minds.
After receiving a degree in Economics from Denison University, she continued her studies at Cleveland State University to develop her interest in art. She then went on to raise three children with her husband in Cleveland. A move to Columbus led Ann to find her passion once more and she sought to develop her oil painting technique.
Ann is excited by nature’s vibrant colors and radiant light. She uses a loose, painterly approach, combining bold brush strokes with unique design elements, allowing the viewer to engage with the painting. Her favorite subjects include animals, architecture and water.
