Artist Jamie Linscott, New Albany, Ohio
A graduate of Columbus College of Art and Design, majoring in fashion retail advertising. I have been creating brand strategies, for many fashion retail brands, locally and a far, for more than 15 years. Graphic designing is a rewarding field, but fashion is my first love. I enjoy creating graphics for T-shirt graphics and art that you can wear.
I work mainly with Precious Metal Clay, or PMC to create hand-made fine silver initial charms or symbols. Each one is a free form and different from each other. A personalized look with initials of those you cherish. I love mixing more than one charm, adding semi precious stones, on a simple sterling silver chain. PMC is a form of recycling old fine silver, recycling is what I also use to design my belt buckle designs too.
Using vintage or broken costume jewelry, I recreate new art on buckles. Sometimes mixing with graphic designs and adding stones. Creating jewelry is more than having a way to produce a creative output, I found it’s a catalyst for connecting with other creative people.
